The interior wall panels of RVs typically have three layers: an outer layer, which forms the shell, an insulating layer, and an inner layer. In most RVs, the inner layer (which includes walls and ceilings) is composed of two different materials. The walls are usually clad with thin plywood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Vinyl panels can also be found in high-end or more expensive RVs. On the other hand, fiberglass-reinforced plastic (GRP) or PVC panels are often found on the roof of a RV, as both materials are lightweight, moisture-resistant, and do not require painting.
