The first few moves in Block Blast can feel almost too easy. You look at the empty board, drop a couple of shapes into place, clear a line, and think you've got the whole thing figured out. Then, somehow, a few moves later, the board is crowded and the perfectly harmless-looking piece in front of you suddenly has nowhere to go.
